‘The Journey’- the master stroke event that was dedicated to AR Rahman’s remarkable 25-year musical journey, was celebrated on the 26 January 2018 at BOLLYWOOD PARKS™ Dubai, underscored by a bevy of Asia’s best musical talent.
Hopes were soaring high for the much anticipated AR Rahman musical concert – ‘The Journey: A Celebration of Music’ that received an overwhelming response. Over 18,000 enthusiastic fans attended the great musical gala, organised by Brothers Incorporated, which brought the legendary virtuoso together with celebrated artists Neeti Mohan, Armaan Malik, Harshdeep Kaur, Javed Ali, Benny Dayal, Jonita Gandhi, Keba Jeremiah and Haricharan Seshadri.
The melodious orchestration was hosted within the grand settings of BOLLYWOOD PARKS™ Dubai, at Dubai Parks and Resorts, with AR Rahman’s haunting melodies soaring above the massive 350 foot stage; a first of its kind for any Asian musical concert.

The event went on till 1:00 AM and AR Rahman performed back to back numbers, including his scintillating hits namely Kehna Hi Kyaa, Humma Humma, Muqabla, Dil se and many more among others. Finally Closing with soulful rendition of Maa Tujhe Salaam’, his seminal patriotic track. A perfect end to the Republic Day performance.
