Dubai’s newest residents Papa, Smurfette, Brainy and Vanity Smurf partake in Ramadan festivities with friends
The world’s most adored blue-coloured friends, the Smurfs have been continuing to paint the town blue as they settle into their future home in Smurfs Village, one of five Zones in MOTIONGATE™ Dubai, the region’s largest Hollywood-inspired theme park. Their Smurfy adventures continued as special guests for an Iftar in recognition of the Holy Month of Ramadan, where more than 100 guests of all ages were treated to a truly Smurf-mazing experience in the fun-loving company of Papa, Smurfette, Brainy and Vanity Smurf.
Throughout the evening, the Smurfs couldn’t contain their excitement as details of Smurfs Village Zone were revealed including an exclusive sneak peek of the Smurfs Studios Tour ride vehicle, one of the five action-packed rides nestled amongst charming mushroom-capped houses. Adding to the thrill, guests could fly through Smurfs Village and all five Zones within MOTIONGATE™ Dubai with a 360-degree virtual coaster tour, using special Virtual Reality goggles.
Other Smurf-tastic activities included face-painting, colouring and keepsake photo opportunities keeping kids and parents in Smurfy grins from ear-to-ear.
Scheduled to open in October this year, MOTIONGATE™ Dubai is part of Dubai Parks and Resorts, which will also feature two additional theme parks and a waterpark all in one amazing destination.
